Pricing
You see the price before you commit.
CE marking is an investment in a machine you can sell legally across the EU.Each service is priced on its own — start free, step in where you need to, and only pay for the stage you're at.
- A structured self-assessment questionnaire document
- Covers the main points your machine should meet for the new Machinery Regulation
- Editable file, yours to keep
- A first read on where your machine stands — not a risk assessment
- Review of your machine and documentation against the Machinery Regulation
- General identification of the issues and hazards a risk assessment would need to address
- Written list of what is likely non-compliant and should be fixed
- A normative reference for each finding
It does not propose adequacy measures. This service tells you, in general terms, what you'll need to look at because it's likely wrong — resolving each point is the work of the risk assessment.
Remote to keep costs down; we can travel on-site if you require it.- Full risk assessment to EN ISO 12100, with HRN risk scoring
- All hazards: mechanical, electrical, chemical and explosion (ATEX) risks
- Safety functions assessed to EN ISO 13849
- Protective-device positioning and safe distances to EN ISO 13855
- Unexpected start-up, guards and interlocks
- Practical remediation proposals with alternatives for each finding
- Everything in the risk assessment above
- The complete technical file compiled to Annex VII
- Compilation of all the technical documentation you need to prepare

Generally remote; we can travel on-site at your request.- Electrical tests to EN 60204-1: earth continuity, dielectric rigidity, functional safety, residual voltage, loop impedance
- Stopping-time measurement for safe positioning of light curtains, scanners, two-hand controls and inertia-hazard guards
- Impact force with a calibrated Micrometrics meter (e.g. palletisers)
- Noise measurements for the technical file noise declaration
From 300 € for a full batch of tests, travel costs excluded.
On-site. Coordinate machine availability; testing takes around 3 hours on site.- Review of the supplier's CE documentation for completeness and accuracy
- Check of the machine against Directive/Regulation requirements
- Validation report with an accept / conditional / reject recommendation

400 €, travel costs excluded.
Remote with information from the manufacturer and suppliers, or a coordinated plant visit.Steps 3 and 4 start from a base figure and are quoted by scope: the final price depends on the machine, the applicable standards and whether Annex IV applies — we set it with you before any work starts. Travel is billed separately where a service is delivered on-site. All prices exclude VAT.
Why we price this way
A full CE marking quoted blind helps no one.By starting with a fixed-price gap assessment, you get a clear picture of the work and the investment before deciding how far to go.If you continue to full marking, you're doing it with the scope already understood — not on an estimate.
We don't compete on being the cheapest. Our structure is efficient, so the investment is optimised — but what you're paying for is a file that holds up and a machine you can place on the market without exposure.
Ongoing support
For manufacturers with a regular flow of new models or design changes, a retainer keeps your files current as standards and the Machinery Regulation evolve. Scoped to your volume — ask for a figure.
